Research Library
Welcome to the library
Section titled “Welcome to the library”The Research Library is the public home for Saor R&D’s research questions, engineering methods, technical notes, and published findings. It is intended to be useful both when you are looking for a specific answer and when a question leads you somewhere unexpected.
Questions worth exploring
Section titled “Questions worth exploring”Saor’s current public research begins with three different questions. Each project is at a different stage, and these pages are introductions to the work—not published experimental findings or validated technical reports.
Research projects
Section titled “Research projects”TPMS — Engineering Continuity & Verification
Section titled “TPMS — Engineering Continuity & Verification”How can engineering knowledge, decisions, uncertainty, and supporting evidence remain useful as development moves between people, agents, and working sessions?
TPMS is a developmental system exploring ways to preserve context, coordinate work, track uncertainty, and support evidence-aware verification.
Can more informed decisions about reconstruction pathways provide useful tradeoffs between storage, computation, dependencies, and reuse?
AHRN is experimental research exploring archival reconstruction and decision strategies through prototypes and controlled comparisons.
The Commons — Privacy-Oriented Digital Communities
Section titled “The Commons — Privacy-Oriented Digital Communities”What would a digital third place look like if community, user ownership, privacy, and meaningful interaction were foundational design concerns?
The Commons is a long-term developmental platform exploring a community environment that brings together conversation, shared knowledge, groups, and collaborative activity.
Engineering methods
Section titled “Engineering methods”How We Work describes Saor’s public engineering philosophy: purpose, autonomy, simplicity, human-directed AI assistance, independent verification, and intellectual honesty.
Featured reading
Section titled “Featured reading”Why Engineering Decisions Need Evidence is a Technical Perspective on preserving the context, assumptions, and evidence that allow engineering decisions to remain useful across sessions and handoffs.
Publication boundary
Section titled “Publication boundary”Public research appears here when it has been deliberately reviewed and selected for release. The library distinguishes research questions, developmental work, observations, findings, limitations, and uncertainty.
For the engineering philosophy behind these projects, see How We Work.
